Cold Drawn Steel FAQ

Cold Drawn Steel Buyer FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What cold drawn steel products and grades can Junxiong supply?

Junxiong Metal supplies cold drawn round, flat, square and hexagonal bars, plus custom profiles made to drawing. Regular procurement enquiries include 1215/12L14, 11SMn30/11SMnPb30, 1.0715/1.0718, SUM23/SUM24L and Q235B. Other grades and cross-sections are reviewed against the buyer's standard, drawing, tolerance, quantity and end use before quotation.

What information is required for a cold drawn steel quotation?

Please provide: steel grade and standard; cross-section and exact dimensions; required tolerance; fixed or random length; order quantity; end use; surface or secondary processing; and delivery country or port. For custom profiles, attach a dimensioned drawing and mark the critical dimensions. These details allow our factory to review manufacturability and quote the correct material, tooling, processing and export packing.

Which tolerances, processing services and documents are available?

Typical enquiries include h9 round bars and h10 square or hexagonal bars, but the achievable tolerance depends on grade, section size and length and must be confirmed in the quotation. Services can include fixed-length cutting, drawing-based custom profiles, punching and galvanizing after drawing review. Material certificates and agreed chemical or mechanical test documents can be supplied when specified before order confirmation.
